West Yorkshire-based principal contractor Majestic Construction has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of experienced business and sports executive Sean Jarvis (pictured left) as a non-executive director.

Sean brings over two decades of experience in leadership roles for large sporting organisations, with notable positions as former director of Huddersfield Town FC and chief executive officer of Leicestershire County Cricket Club.

The appointment comes at an exciting time for the business, which has experienced significant growth over the past eighteen months, alongside a rebrand, new website and expansion into larger principal contractor and construction delivery projects across the UK.

Majestic Construction specialises in principal contract work across various industries, from retail and sport to logistics and property. The firm has recently delivered some high-profile projects within the sports sector spanning Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Gloucester and beyond.

In his new position, Sean will work alongside owner and operator, Lee Marsden, to provide strategic guidance, commercial insight and leadership support as the business enters its next phase of growth and development.

Commenting on the appointment, Lee said: "I've admired Sean's work for a number of years, particularly the impact he has made across professional sport and business. He has a proven track record of building high-performing organisations, developing teams and creating sustainable growth.

“As Majestic Construction continues to evolve, Sean's experience and support will be invaluable in helping us achieve our long-term ambitions."

Sean added: "Majestic Construction is a business with strong foundations, a clear vision and significant growth potential. Lee has built a reputation for delivering projects professionally, solving complex problems and developing trusted client relationships.

“I'm looking forward to working with Lee and the team as they continue to strengthen the business, develop its structure and pursue the exciting opportunities that lie ahead."
