UKREiiF launches high streets & urban centres day for 2027

UKREiiF, the UK’s leading real estate, investment and infrastructure forum, has launched High Streets & Urban Centres Day, a dedicated programme for the people, projects and partnerships regenerating town and city centres across the country.
The day takes place on Tuesday 18 May 2027, opening UKREiiF 2027 at the Royal Armouries in Leeds (18 to 20 May).
High streets are no longer a retail problem to be solved in isolation. They are where housing, leisure, culture, civic services and investment meet, and where the case for town centre regeneration is made to the brands and funders who can deliver it. High Streets & Urban Centres Day puts the organisations deciding what happens to the vacant unit, the tired precinct and the half-let parade in the same room. That includes retail, hospitality and leisure operators, landlords, councils, business improvement districts, developers and investors.
The programme includes main stage panel sessions, roundtable sessions, a headline partner session, a breakfast and a networking reception.
The operator and investor mix reflects how town centres are changing. Organisations attending UKREiiF span landlords and investors including Landsec, British Land, Grosvenor, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield and McArthurGlen; retailers including McDonalds, IKEA, Aldi, JD Sports Fashion and Morrisons; hotel groups including Accor, Hilton and Travelodge; and leisure operators including David Lloyd Clubs, The Gym Group and Anytime Fitness.
