Cyber security specialist Xypher has opened a new office in Leeds as part of its ambitious growth plans. The private equity backed group, which specialises in a range of cyber security disciplines including prevention, detection and response, has opened its latest office location with a team of 13 based in city centre premises.

The new office is part of a strategic move that will capitalise on the city’s already well-established expertise in the technology, digital and professional services space.

Xypher’s new office location takes advantage of a prime central location, at the heart of the city’s tech ecosystem at the Platform building which sits above the city’s main train station.

Matthew Parker CEO of Xypher said: “We’re seeing unprecedented levels of demand for our services, with a shifting cyber landscape and advancing threats from a variety of sources. Our business has the people and capability to provide a complete cyber security solutions across public and private sector organisations in an ever-evolving threat landscape.”

“While our sector is already seeing double digit growth year on year, our unique proposition means that we’re ready to out-perform our competitors. Providing services that take advantage of a range of technology, but never forgetting that vital human element to cyber security, sets us apart: a feature that is evident in our Leeds base.

“Our newest office location has been chosen because of the City’s strong credentials in tech and professional services, as well as its attractiveness to young people and recent graduates. We undertook a special recruitment day in the city last month, which resulted in an exceptionally high calibre of candidate for these roles. We look forward
to significant growth in the coming years.”

Xypher’s Leeds office will be home to a team of sales experts, who will help drive growth across its range of services, which includes compliance and digital forensic investigation; leveraging the latest technologies and innovative approaches to address evolving threats.
