Fantastic Media celebrates Emley A.F.C sponsorship with anniversary kit

Emley A.F.C. has unveiled a special anniversary kit to celebrate a decade of partnership with Leeds-based marketing consultancy, Fantastic Media.

The distinctive all-sky-blue kit will be worn by Emley in cup competitions throughout the 2026/27 season, marking ten years since Fantastic Media began its sponsorship of the Welfare Ground in 2016.

The kit takes inspiration from one of the most memorable moments in the club’s history. The all-sky-blue strip echoes the colours worn by Emley during their historic 1988 FA Vase run, when the club travelled to Wembley to face Colne Dynamos.

The anniversary marks a significant year for both organisations, with Fantastic Media also celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2026. Over the past two decades, the agency has developed a strong track record in sports marketing, working with organisations including Huddersfield Giants, Sheffield United and Huddersfield Town, as well as representing high-profile names from the world of football.

Fantastic Media founder and CEO, Andy Hobson, has also been president of Emley A.F.C. since 2023, having been closely involved with the club throughout his decade as a sponsor.

Reflecting on the milestone, Andy said: “It’s hard to believe it’s been ten years since Fantastic Media came on board to sponsor the Welfare Ground, and three years since I became president.

“It’s been an incredible period for the club. To see two promotions in three seasons, alongside all the hard work happening behind the scenes, it has been hugely rewarding. There is a real sense that Emley has built something special, with strong foundations and a very exciting future.

“I’ve spent a large part of my career working in and around football, and I’ve seen first-hand what it takes to build a strong sporting brand and commercial operation. Emley is now in a really strong position, and I’m proud of the role Fantastic Media has played in that journey.”

Emley A.F.C. chairman, Marcus Pound, said: “All-sky-blue is a significant and memorable colour choice for us. We wore an all-sky-blue kit during the season we reached Wembley in the FA Vase, so it felt like the perfect inspiration for this anniversary kit and something we can proudly wear during our cup campaigns.

“It has been a pleasure to work with Andy and Fantastic Media over the last ten years. Their support has gone far beyond simply sponsoring the ground, and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve managed to achieve together.

“The club is in a really exciting position, both on and off the pitch, and this kit is a great way to celebrate where we’ve come from while looking ahead to where we’re going.”

The partnership between Fantastic Media and Emley forms part of the agency’s long-standing involvement in sport. Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, Fantastic Media has worked across football, rugby and other sporting sectors, using its expertise in branding, marketing, digital and commercial strategy to help clubs and sporting organisations strengthen their profiles and connect with their audiences.

For Emley, the anniversary kit provides a visual link between the club’s past and present, celebrating the 1988 Wembley story while marking a decade of partnership and looking ahead to the next chapter of the club’s development.
