Lazenby’s Financial Services has been shortlisted in two categories at the Yorkshire Financial Awards, capping a year of rapid growth and increasing national recognition for the independent advisory firm.
The Leeds-based business is a finalist for Financial Advisor Team of the Year, while founder Alan Lazenby has been named among the contenders for Independent Financial Advisor of the Year.
The nominations follow a period of sustained expansion for the firm, which has reported significant growth in both turnover and headcount over the past 12 months, strengthening its presence across the region.
Adding to its momentum, Lazenby has also been included in the VouchedFor 2026 Top Rated Financial Adviser Guide, published in The Telegraph—a widely recognised benchmark of client-rated excellence within the UK financial advice sector.
The latest recognition builds on a series of recent accolades. In the past year, the firm secured the Prestige Awards Best Independent Financial Services Award and was also named a finalist in the Professional Advisor Awards, underlining its growing standing in a competitive market.
Alan said the dual shortlisting reflects both commercial progress and a continued focus on client outcomes.
